Design Your Own Project - Marco Photography
For this project I started out with idea generation. I knew I wanted it to be based around photography so I began to research different types of photography. I would compare the style to images I had already taken. I was intrigued and found that some of the photography has some to do with the style macro. I conducted more research on this topic and wanted to work specifically on image vibrancy as well as focus points in the image.
I chose an old picture from March 2019 and imported it to Photopea. I cropped the image down to increase the area of focus and added layers with green tints to make the colors bounce more, this step also caused the background to blur. I also added layers to the lady bud to bolden the red and whites of the it. For the last step I edited the image as a whole by changing: exposure, brightness, saturation, contrast, and highlights.

Self-Portrait Project
As our first project in Digital Arts, Roxy gave us the assignment of a self portrait. We first started out by taking a survey based around how we see ourselves and want to express ourselves. From there we began making drafts and had a class critique. After that I started taking pictures then uploading them to Photopea. I added in some flowers then used a light brush to add in the light blues and clouds.
I wanted this project to be an expression of what it felt and looked like in my mind when I am inspired. I love painting, and when I am, I often think of the colors and a flow of my emotions and that they are a part of me. So I wanted to have paint on my skin and show that is was me. I added the flower as a symbol to my inspiration. Flowers play the largest role in my inspiration, they are my go to. I find it easy for me to get lost are art, especially when I finally find my flow, I loose track of time and it sometimes can feel like I'm floating so I wanted to add the clouds as an effect of my ability to disconnect myself from the world.
